The Far Horizon is a tavern located in the Mist. Under the banner of the Tsakhilgaan tribe it seeks to bring the comforts of the Steppe to a people known for roaming far, to bring shelter to those who need it most - and to provide a relaxing venue for those with less delicate tastes. Prejudices and rivalries are to be left at the door, and all are invited to share in the culture of the untamed Steppe. While hospitality is the focus, it isn't quite the traditional Eorzean tavern and offers a local advertisement and job listings service via billboard, as well as various other assistances. The Far Horizon now has private rooms for rent! Come stay as long as you like in our comfortable suites, whether alone or in a group. Please note that The Far Horizon has some basic expectations of guest ettiquete.1) No Fighting indoors. Weapons are allowed, but should never ever be drawn.2) Please refrain from disrupting fellow patrons, or lodgers at the Horizon - particularily in the evening. This includes, screaming, shouting, pounding on surfaces and also fighting.3) Tribal Politics from back on the Steppe have NO place here. This is Tsakhilgaan territory; please respect it.4) Do not flaunt magics within the premesis. Do not, under any circumstances, summon any potentially dangerous creatures, be they voidkin, soulkin, or anything else. If you are asked to stop doing whatever you are doing, stop.

Staff

Sarnai Tsakhilgaan owns the Far Horizon alongside her husband. She manages front of house, largely responsible for interacting with customers. Frequently busy elsewhere, Maral Kha is her second in command.

Temujin (Shiro) Tsakhilgaan owns the Far Horizon alongside his wife. He commands the beating heart of the inn, the kitchen - and serves as head chef when present. On days where he does not, Khavar Dazkar holds down the fort. Temujin has the dubious distinction of being the only au ra in the team not allergic to paperwork.

Dana Malaguld is a young student working as a waitress and bar help. She assists the rest of the kitchen and front of house as needed, usually attending to customers.

Frideris Glazier or 'Fizz' helps out mostly back of house, cleaning after (and before) shifts. On the busier nights, she shadows the front of house, serving and clearing drinks when able.

(NPC) Maral Kha is a friendly young xaela woman who is generally the second in command where the bar and customer service is concerned. When the Tsakhilgaan aren't in the building, or things are busy, Maral keeps things running smoothly.

(NPC) Khavar Dazkar is to the kitchen what Maral is to the front of house - he is the second in command where all things food related are concerned.

Billboard

A small number of leves mark the board - ranging from simple labour to bounties on dangerous wildlife.
Spattered all over the weathered map used as a billboard are some more notable personal advertisements.
